Christmas markets are starting soon...Get the dates in your diaries!

We will be at the Boys Market at the Hawthorn Town Hall with Asterix and the little Prince at reduced prices!
So for some bargain shopping (pre-loved goods and wholesale prices) come to visit us on Thursday 12th November from 7 to 10 pm!

We will be at the Mathilda Market on Sunday 22nd November from 9 to 1pm at the Hawthorn Town Hall with our whole range of The little Prince, Asterix and Kirikou so come and stock up for Christmas!



We will present the Artiga beautiful linen range with both the table linen and accessories at the boutique event from Magnolia Square at the Brighton Town Hall on the 3rd, 4th and 5th December!

And finally for a unique French experience, we will be at the Alliance Française Christmas Market in St Kilda on Saturday 12th December with both the kids products (Kirikou, The Little
Prince and Asterix) and the Artiga linen presented by Cassis events and productions (Art de la table, hampers and gift vouchers).

Basque glory
Weaving is a centuries-old tradition in the Basque region of Europe. Basque linens are made from high-quality, color-resistant fabrics. They are distrinctive because of their seven tripes, which represent the seven provinces of the Basque region: three French provinces and four Spanish. The patterns being designed today are a variation on the old fabric.

Made by Artiga using cotton from Zambia or Egypt. Tablecloths, aprons and napery now available from rougestore.com.au or Esprit de Famille, Toorak Village. Check out the lovely Mauléon tablecloth (pictured), which measures 205cmx165cm and is $179.

The Basque country - the French surf coast

Did you know that the Basque country has some of France best surf beaches? Have you ever heard of Biarritz? On the main beach, you can find a large rip curl shop, a surf school.. and quite of few Aussies.

Of course Biarritz is the equivalent to Bondi.. if you want a quieter surf spot, you can go to Hossegor, Seignosse or Capbreton..

Artiga rain hats have arrived!

We have received the beautiful Artiga rain hats and matching umbrellas in the Côte Ouest design! With the waterproof coating (toile enduite), they are classy and durable. Be quick, we have pre-sold a few before they got into Australia! Marylin in Esprit de famille (Toorak Village) is stocking a few..and the rest is online.

You can now purchase selected Artiga products from La Bergerie, the French cheese shop in Mailing Road, Canterbury and from Esprit de Famille on Toorak Road, Toorak Village (the Corda Metis design shown here)!

You can now buy Le Petit Prince stationary from the Brunswick St Bookstore in Fitzroy (greeting cards, notebooks, bookmarks..) and for a wide range from tableware to toys and stationary from Esprit de Famille in Toorak Village.

We have widened the range as we are preparing for the August Magnolia Square market. We will give you more details closer to that event.

We have brought in more stationary, games and toys for the little Prince.

We now carry the whole range of Kirikou items for you here in Australia. We will try to make the film available to you online although I already saw one copy of the DVD at Readings in Carlton. So it can be found although hard to get!

Natalie and I have been busy over the last two months to bring to you our first Artiga fabrics! We have 2 designs only so far but more will come.
